1. Ensure you have a schedule
As moms, it makes sense to have a schedule. Taking time for yourself as a mom or a working mom depends on the time you have on your hands (proper time management) and a schedule can help with that. You can simply create schedules on Canva and try your best to stick to them.
2. Alternate activities with your partner
Teamwork sure makes the dream work! If you have a partner, then you can decide to alternate responsibilities. If not, you may have someone you can share responsibilities with, For example, your mom. 3. Take advantage of the kids’ bedtime
Call it your happy hour. When you’ve put the kids to bed, take the time to do even the simplest things. For example, lay in a warm bubble bath and sip on champagne, do breathing exercises and meditation, watch your favorite series, journal, laugh, call your bestie, whatever you do, enjoy it.
I know that sometimes when you put the kids to bed you’re already tired and sleepy (It happens to me too haha), but you can try to schedule an earlier bedtime for your little ones.
4. Ask for or hire help
You might not be fortunate to have help right at your hand length. However, It doesn’t hurt to ask for help. We all need help at some point in our lives and that’s ok. Don’t go through it alone. Ask! If you can hire help (A nanny), then do so.
