Choose a room/area to decorate with red and white decor, balloons, flowers, candles and anything that can sets the Valentine’s mood.
  2. Make DIY Chocolate Covered Strawberries.
This is a really easy to make, delicious, eye catching and inexpensive treat for Valentine’s Day. You guys can enjoy it together.
  3. Give your partner a body massage. No, this isn’t just the regular massage you would give when he/she comes home from work. You’re gonna spice things up a notch.

Ensure the room is dark, you have towels, hot oil and candles lit (and just add your spark to it). Additionally, Both yourself and your partner should get dressed up (it’s a real date) and just bask in the ambiance of the evening! Men, you can offer red roses to your lover or both can present your Valentine’s gift at the table (surprise, surprise).

Single and celebrating Valentine’s Day

For my single friends, I hope you didn’t think for a second that I was going to leave you hanging!
if you’re single and will celebrate Valentine’s Day by yourselves, there are quite a few things you can do to enjoy your day (on a budget).

  1. Make a bubble bath and lather yourselves. Turn on some music and sip on your favorite drink while reading a book.
  2. Do your own pedi for Valentine’s Day
  3. Lather yourself with coconut oil, relax and meditate on some positive things that happened.
  4. Watch a nice movie. Ensure you have popcorn. One of my favorite thing to watch is stand up comedy on YouTube and have a laugh.
  5. Buy yourself chocolate and your favorite goodies.
  6. Call a good friend and share in a good conversation.

  1. I’m happy you did! I usually just google stuff randomly to read, so I really can’t make any specific suggestions. I keep going back to ‘The Content Bug’ and ‘the budget mom’ to read every now and then. But yea, I’d suggest you google and just try finding blogs you love and want to stick to.
